The Shepherd Method™ of head lice removal is a non-toxic and safe way of treating head lice which involves a strand-by-strand technique to ensure all evidence of lice and nits have been removed.
Lice Treatment
A head check is performed to identify any evidence of nits or lice. Once evidence if found, the client is informed and treatment will begin. Every member of the household should be checked to determine if they also have evidence of head lice.
We apply a plant based enzyme product to the hair and scalp, followed by a complete comb out. This step will eliminate 90% of the nits and lice. Hair is then sectioned and paper thin layers are examined strand-by-strand to manually remove all the remaining lice and nits. We use medical grade magnifiers and digital microscopes to assure for accuracy. This step is a a very critical component of the treatment and takes the most time. However, due to our meticulous process, we get the job done in ONE treatment!

Wear a button down shirt

Bring a clean button down shirt (to change into after removal)

Comb out all tangles

Wash hair after 2 hours or before bed to remove mousse

Comb hair with a nit comb every 2 or 3 days for 2 weeks

Use lice shampoo daily
